The emphasis is often put on : a) the study of human figure (representation ?), one of the objectives of art history - as in literature - is to enable humans to find their fellow creatures, b) the improvement of chronology, as indispensable basis for every investigation.
Problems of architecture may also be taken into account.

Course material : In order to form to scientific practice, students are invited to work in library and to find in mentioned bibliography pictures seen at lessons, as eventually other comments.
