At the end of the course, the successful student will have acquired the theoretical knowledge and practical competence necessary for the psychomotor education and re-education of healthy and handicapped children. The course addresses the fundamental aspects of psychomotor development during childhood while highlighting the discreapancies due to a physical or a mental handicap.

Content and teaching methods
The curse was divided in two parts: 7.5h theory and 15h of practice. We study the evolution of reflexes, of motor reactions, muscular tone and motor acquisitions for the old healthy child from 0 to 3 years. The students learn how to carry out a complete clinical assessment of the young child. Then the psychomotor development of the old healthy child from 3 to 10 years is approached by the study of the development of global and fine prehension, the space-time organization, laterality and the body scheme. The student is confronted with a setting in situation with young children and must carry out a meeting of psychomotricity on a set of themes given with the child.
