Communication Networks [0.0]

This option cannot be validated together with the options « Networking and Security » or « Cryptography and information security ». Students are however allowed to choose elective courses from these other options.

This option is only accessible to students with a major or minor in electricity in their bachelor programme.

Students who completed the "Networks and telecommunications" option will be able to :

  • Understand and implement the various devices and protocols used in fixed and mobile networks.
  • Design, configure and manage fixed and mobile networks taking into account the needs of the applications (including multimedia).
  • Understand and efficiently use techniques of information coding.
  • Understand and design mobile wireless communication systems from the physical layer up to the application level.
