The aim of this course is to teach the management of the critically ill child admitted to the emergency room or to the neonatal and/or pediatric intensive care unit. The most frequently encountered pathologies will be presented each year whereas others will be covered every two to three years. Basic knowledge of pathophysiology will be reviewed with a clinical bias.
