SEM - Structural equation model

Structural equation models (SEM) are a family of confirmatory analysis techniques studying the structure of the covariances existing between variables. These techniques aim to estimate the strength of the relationships between the variables or to test the goodness of fit of the model. Theoretical models to be estimated or compared may include observed variables and continuous latent ones.
