<p>To what extent have newsrooms been transformed by the health crisis? The Observatory for Research on Media and Journalism (ORM-UCLouvain) is organizing an international colloquium on the afternoon of May 12, 2022 to understand how the pandemic has changed journalistic practices, the organisation of newsrooms and the revenue models of press groups. </p>



<p>The afternoon will be opened by François-Pierre Nel, Professor of Media Innovation (University of Central Lancashire &#8211; <a href="https://www.uclan.ac.uk/academics/francois-nel">https://www.uclan.ac.uk/academics/francois-nel</a>) and academic member of the World Association of Newspaper Publishers (WAN-IFRA &#8211; World Press Trends). </p>



<p>It will continue with two panels: the first one will focus on the post-pandemic media situation in different small national/regional markets in Europe (Scotland, Flanders, Portugal), while the second one will specifically question the situation of the French-speaking Belgian newsrooms (Le Soir, Le Vif, L&#8217;Avenir), together with journalists and editors.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Les stratégies éditoriales à l’épreuve de la pandémie&nbsp;: Innovations, modèles éditoriaux et d’affaires dans les petits marchés européens</strong></h2>



<p>Dans quelle mesure les rédactions ont-elles été transformées par la crise sanitaire&nbsp;? L’Observatoire de Recherche sur les Médias et le journalisme (ORM-UCLouvain) organise, l’après-midi du 12 mai 2022, un colloque international destiné à comprendre comment la pandémie a bouleversé les pratiques journalistiques, l’organisation des rédactions et les modèles de revenus des groupes de presse. </p>

<p>Elle se poursuivra par deux panels&nbsp;: le premier s’intéressera à la situation des médias post-pandémie dans différents petits marchés nationaux/régionaux d’Europe (Ecosse, Flandre, Portugal), tandis que le second interrogera spécifiquement les rédactions de Belgique francophone (Le Soir, Le Vif, L’Avenir), en compagnie de journalistes et rédacteurs en chef.</p>
