Implantable Multi-contact Active Nerve Electrode, acronym IMANE, is an European Commission research project. This project is funded under the Research and Development Framework Programme 6 (FP6, 2002-2006), the “Information Society Technologies” thematic priority. The project aims at integrating existing technologies to develop a functional electrode stimulation device for broad medical applications. The IMANE partners pooled their resource and their expertise in the fields of laser application, electronic technology and neural rehabilitation in order to deliver an innovated implantable multi-contact active nerve electrode.

This website serves as a networking tool by providing information and the latest developments of the project. It includes a partner page so that the interested can contact the corresponding person directly.
