This technique can be used to quantify long-term denudation rates, soil production and weathering rates, determine the rock exposure age, and to reconstruct the geomorphic history of soil and depositional landforms. In the geochemical laboratories at the Earth and Life Institute, we prepare soil, sediment and rock samples for in-situ <sup>26<\/sup>Al and <sup>10<\/sup>Be and meteoric <sup>10<\/sup>Be analyses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover\" style=\"min-height:600px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-nv-text-dark-bg-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns ticss-8b0841c2 is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-4fc3f8e1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left has-neve-text-color-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">4D Earth surface monitoring using drones<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-neve-text-color-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Using RGB cameras mounted on customer-grade drones, we can monitor the earth surface at cm-resolution and precision. With Structure-from-Motion techniques, we can then produce digital models of the surface and ground topography, and vegetation structure.
