I work in Veerle Vanacker’s research team since 2018. I am currently a PhD student working on an FNRS PDR project on soil-landscape development in the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador). My research focuses on climatic and topographic control on volcanic soil weathering and erosion. My research is conducted along a climosequence on the volcanic island of Santa Cruz, Galapagos. The location of our study sites in the protected area of the Galapagos Natural Park allows us to conduct fundamental research, excluding disturbances caused by anthropogenic activities.
