Access to studies

Study programmes accessible to or destined for diploma holders or students from other UCL faculties

Diploma holders or students wishing to widen their knowledge in a different subject from their basic subject diploma can find course opportunities in several faculties.

Depending on the student's aspirations and the amount of time he has to consecrate, different diploma titles may be obtained :

  • · A new basic diploma, often with a reduction of the normal length of the course, depending on his previous studies.
  • · A specialised or in-depth study diploma, after one or two years. Any student interested should contact the faculty or the department which organises the course (from the preceeding list) that interests the student .

Special circumstances can be taken into consideration, (c.f. article 7 of the general exam reglementation) which may enable a student to spread his programme over two or several academic years.

Admission is not necessarily automatic, sometimes the admission application needs to be analysed.
