Aims

Protestant Theologies
Become familiar with the contents, style and major ideas of Protestant theology.

Main themes

Like every major Christian Church, the Protestant Church has its own way, its own "style," of conceiving and practicing theology on particular points in its own theological contents and on points of agreement in faith with other Churches. In a Catholic Faculty of Theology, this course should not aim to be exhaustive, but rather to make students aware of the major ideas of reformed theology - in what is particular to it. Every two years a special question, of an historical or speculative order, is studied, differing from year to year since this is a third cycle course.

Content and teaching methods

The contents change every year and the method is the lecture type course, although personal reading is highly recommended.
Evaluation: oral examination
