Aims

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- read Greek texts from the New Testament (of average difficulty), using a dictionary and a grammar book;
- verify the accuracy of a French translation.

Main themes

To meet these objectives, the course consists in reading Greek texts mainly from the Gospels and Pauline letters. Particular attention will be paid to vocabulary and syntactic features.

Content and teaching methods

The reading of the choosen textes should be prepared by the students ans discussed during the course.

Prerequisite: "Introduction to Biblical Greek" or equivalent.
