Aims

Through text analysis, have the students discover the relevance of the different investigation methods, modern and traditional ones, so as to prepare them to academic research as well as to the teaching of literature in secondary education schools.

Main themes

Analysis of a literary work written in French (or of several works of the same genre) from the period between 1800 and 1913 and allowing us to initiate the student to the historical, sociological, psychocritical and structuralistic, etc... methods.
