Aims

Introduction to the technical and clinical aspects of neuroradiology

Main themes

Technical basis of CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging.
Imaging of the normal anatomy of brain, head & neck and spine.
Elementary desciption of the radiologic semiology of the main diseases

Content and teaching methods

This course requires previous knowledge in anatomy and neurology (medical students)
Lectures with discussion
A CD-ROM with the content is given to the students

Written evaluation: diagnosis on slides and multiple choice questions
