Aims

This course aims to initiate the chemistry students to the most advanced notions of quantitative chemistry and to their application to problems encountered by chemists.

Main themes

Presentation of methods allow to reach the wave function of molecular states followed by their use to interpret a chemical phenomenon, for example in spectroscopy and theories of chemical reactivity.

Prerequisites: introduction to quantitative chemistry.

Evaluation: written examination.
