 Objectifs

By means of practical experience, to acquire a knowledge, through observation and practice, of the concrete work leading to the creation of a drama on stage.
Objectifs
Dans le domaine des études théâtrales, la théorie et la pratique s'éclairent et se fécondent mutuellement.
Ces 30 heures d'"Initiation à la mise en scène" seront destinées à la dramatisation de pièces étudiées sur le plan théorique (au(x) cours d'Étude dramaturgique, Esthétique comparative et/ou Étude d'un théâtre étanger). Cette mise à la question concrète des pièces permettra une meilleure compréhension de leur fonctionnement dramaturgique et scénique.

Students will undergo a period of practical experience, during which they will work as assistants in a professional production or be responsible for a student, amateur or professional production.

Ce cours est consacré à la dramatisation (- de la simple mise en espace à la réalisation aboutie, selon les possibilités -) de pièce(s) ou d'extraits de pièces étudiées au(x) cours d'Étude dramaturgique, d'Esthétique comparative, et/ou d'Étude d'un théâtre étranger. Il s'agit, pour l'étudiant, de tester par lui-même sous la direction d'un metteur en scène et pédagogue, le fonctionnement scénique des pièces.
Résumé
Content: Although successful theatrical production requires political, philosophical and aesthetic knowledge, familiarity with the rules of drama and artistic talent, as soon as the concrete space of the stage is actually entered it also concerns the relation between actor and text, the deployment of all the tools of stagecraft, listening and looking, writing and know-how.
Method: Period of practical experience, lasting an average of four weeks.

At the end of the practical experience period, the student will make an oral evaluation of the show he has participated in, the producer's working method and the student's own involvement in the production.
