Students in international management should be able to communicate and negociate effectively despite cultural barriers.
This seminar has as objective to :
1. Acquire the theorical key concept of communication;
2. Analyze the different elements of a negociation process;
3. Provide an experience in cross cultural communication and negociation in different cultural
environments : Islamic, African, Japanese, South American, Germanic cultures.
Résumé
METHODOLOGY
This seminar should mainly use role-playing case studies as pedagogical methods, backed up by theorical readings and lectures.
CONCEPTS TO BE ANALYZED
1. The communication process : behavior as a communication sign
2. The cross cultural communication : concepts and obstacles.
4. The different cycles of a negociation process.
5. Cultural area analysis of communication, negociation and culture.
