la photographie postmoderniste<\/strong>

 STAGED BODIES expose de nombreuses fa\u00e7ons dont le corps est mis en sc\u00e8ne dans la photographie artistique depuis 1970. \u00c0 cette \u00e9poque, le traitement du corps se transforme radicalement\u2009: ce dernier n\u2019est plus consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 close et stable. Il devient une surface de projection fluctuante permettant de ren\u00e9gocier des questions fondamentales li\u00e9es \u00e0 la repr\u00e9sentation, \u00e0 l\u2019identit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la relation entre les sexes. \u00c0 ce passage d\u2019un corps naturel et permanent vers un corps id\u00e9ologiquement d\u00e9termin\u00e9 et remodelable, correspond, en photographie, l\u2019abandon d\u2019une approche documentaire en faveur d\u2019une staged photography<\/em>, une photographie mise en sc\u00e8ne qui, au lieu de pr\u00e9tendre \u00e0 la reproduction du r\u00e9el, le th\u00e9\u00e2tralise et le fictionnalise. 

L\u2019exposition s\u2019articule autour de trois th\u00e9matiques. La premi\u00e8re partie, Double staged<\/em>, telle une mise en abyme, part du constat qu\u2019une image en cache toujours une autre. Ici, les images se r\u00e9f\u00e8rent \u00e0 d\u2019autres repr\u00e9sentations dont elles proposent la re-mise en sc\u00e8ne. La deuxi\u00e8me, intitul\u00e9e Performing gender<\/em>, s\u2019appuie sur l\u2019id\u00e9e que le genre n\u2019est pas un fait naturel mais un processus historique et social. La troisi\u00e8me partie, Between Bodies<\/em>, propose de s\u2019interroger sur le corps collectif et social, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire le corps dans son interaction avec d\u2019autres. 

Le Mus\u00e9e L fait ainsi la part belle au m\u00e9dium photographique avec cette exposition au contenu construit, tant sur le plan esth\u00e9tique que par l\u2019actualit\u00e9 de son propos.
