This page is dedicated to the virtual aligned conferences &amp; events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#DH-pedagogy\">Open\/Social\/Digital Humanities Pedagogy, Training, and Mentorship<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#project-preservation\">Open Digital Collaborative Project Preservation in the Humanities<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#rtl\">Right to Left (RTL)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#project-management\">Project Management in the Humanities<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#launching-a-digital-commons-for-HSS\">Launching a Digital Commons for the Humanities and Social Sciences<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#colloquium\">DHSI Conference and Colloquium<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#graph-poem\">#GraphPoem<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conferences will consist of pre-recorded video presentations available to registered participants and some combination of 2-hour Zoom and Twitter discussions during the week of DHSI. A few days before the scheduled discussion, registered participants will gain access to the password-protected presentations and will have a chance to prepare questions and comments. During the scheduled time, presenters will engage in a Zoom and\/or Twitter Q&amp;A and discussion. Please see the below descriptions for further details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To register for aligned conferences &amp; events, online workshops, and\/or institute lectures, please complete the form available at the following link:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/events.eply.com\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/events.eply.com\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-registration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dhsi.org\/dhsi-2022-online-edition-aligned-conferences-events\/#schedule\">Click here<\/a>\u00a0to view the at-a-glance schedule of live sessions for the aligned conferences &amp; events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#GraphPoem<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Event chair:<\/strong>&nbsp;Chris Tanasescu (UCLouvain)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1:00 pm \u2013 3:00 pm PDT&nbsp;Friday, 10 June<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All those connected to DHSI and its 2022 edition are invited to be part of the EPoetry event #GraphPoem by MARGENTO by contributing text files or weblinks to a collectively assembled dataset and\/or run a script plotting the latter into a real-time evolving network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Graph Poem is an ongoing transnational project combining natural language processing and graph theory-based approaches to poetry, with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/journal.dhbenelux.org\/journal\/issues\/002\/article-39-tanasescu\/article-39-tanasescu.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">academic<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asymptotejournal.com\/blog\/2019\/05\/30\/our-shared-world-of-language-reflections-on-us-poets-foreign-poets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DH-literary<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=34_fP-qD58A&amp;t=8826s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">performative outputs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When DHSI registration opens, participants will be able to sign up for GraphPoem and will receive an account giving them access to the data and the code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">#GraphPoem will have two main components viewable to anybody accessing the following online venues at the time of the event: a livestreamed performance on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Margento.Official\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Margento\u2019s Facebook page<\/a>&nbsp;and the bot&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GraphPoem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@GraphPoem<\/a>&nbsp;tweeting text-nodes selected from the evolving graph by a network analysis algorithm and fed into the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To register for DHSI 2022\u2014Online Edition<\/strong>, please complete&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/events.eply.com\/DHSI-2022-Online-Edition-Registration\">this form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DHSI 2022\u2014Online Edition: Workshops<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are thrilled to be hosting DHSI 2022\u2014Online Edition (June 6\u201310) this year, which will consist of several aligned conferences, institute lectures, and workshops.
