The Belgian FNRS Contact Group “Embedded Real-Time Systems” is honoured to announce that six presentations have been accepted for this year's FNRS session. The full list of accepted presentations is available below: View accepted presentations.
The Belgian FNRS Contact Group "Embedded Real-Time Systems" invites PhD students and early-stage researchers to submit abstracts for presentation at its upcoming event.
Accepted submissions will be presented on 1 July 2026, during the FNRS Contact Group on Embedded Real-Time Systems session.
Travel grants are available for Master/PhD students and young researchers (check submission platform for details).
Submissions are welcome in (but not limited to) the following areas:
The FNRS session will feature a keynote lecture by Professor Mitra Nasri on "Learning-enabled and learning-assisted real-time systems", followed by short presentations from doctoral students and researchers.
Submissions must be in the format of extended abstracts no longer than two A4 pages (shorter is better).
Presentation format: Each presentation will last 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for Q&A.
Presenters should upload their final presentation file, in PDF format only, via CES 2026 Submission Page by June 25, 2026.
The accepted presentations for the FNRS Contact Group session on Embedded Real-Time Systems are listed below. Presentations will take place on 1 July 2026, during the FNRS PhD session.
Joël Goossens (ULB), Cristel Pelsser (UCLouvain), Mohsen Shirali (UCLouvain)
The FNRS session will take place within the three-day Critical Embedded Systems Conference 2026 (CES2026), held at UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, from 30 June to 2 July 2026. This session is organized within the framework of the Belgian FNRS Contact Group “Embedded Real-Time Systems” and the GRASCOMP doctoral school (Belgium's French Community).
The Critical Embedded Systems Conference 2026 (CES2026) conference focuses on critical embedded and cyber-physical systems for mobility and transport, with emphasis on safety, sustainability, and the decarbonization of transport systems. It provides a unique opportunity to present research to an international audience and engage with both academic and industrial experts. This conference accepts submissions for both oral presentations and posters.
