{"id":17253,"date":"2017-03-22T11:21:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-22T10:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.uclouvain.be\/bkl-cbl\/?p=17253"},"modified":"2017-03-22T11:24:24","modified_gmt":"2017-03-22T10:24:24","slug":"plin-day-2017-on-construction-grammar-new-advances-in-theoretical-and-applied-linguistics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.uclouvain.be\/bkl-cbl\/en\/plin-day-2017-on-construction-grammar-new-advances-in-theoretical-and-applied-linguistics\/","title":{"rendered":"PLIN Day 2017 on &#8220;Construction Grammar: new advances in theoretical and applied linguistics\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Friday,\u00a0<strong>May 12,\u00a02017<\/strong>, the\u00a0Linguistics Research Unit of Universit\u00e9 catholique de Louvain organizes the <strong>PLIN Day 2017 on &#8220;Construction Grammar: new advances in theoretical and applied linguistics\u201d<\/strong> at the Universit\u00e9 catholique de Louvain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Program and abstracts of the keynote speakers are now available on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uclouvain.be\/fr\/instituts-recherche\/ilc\/plin\/plin-linguistic-day-2017.html\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>, as well as an online registration form.\u00a0<strong>The registration deadline is May 1st<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aims of the conference are the following:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" align=\"left\">(a) To present the most\u00a0<strong>recent developments<\/strong>\u00a0of ongoing research within the framework of Construction Grammar by covering a wide spectrum of fields, topics and research problems<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">(b) To highlight the\u00a0<strong>benefits<\/strong>\u00a0of a Construction Grammar approach for both theoretical and applied linguistics<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference will include\u00a0<strong>5 plenary talks<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>2 poster sessions<\/strong>.
