The annual Linguists\u2019 Day of the LSB (Linguistic Society of Belgium) will be organized this year on Friday 25 May 2018<\/strong> at the Facult\u00e9 de Philosophie et Lettres of the Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Abstracts<\/strong>
\nLectures (20\u2019 presentation + 10\u2019 discussion) can deal with any linguistic topic and can be given in one of the three national languages (Dutch, French, German) or in English. Abstracts (max. 500 words, without references) should clearly indicate the subject, the objectives, the used data and method and the (provisional) results. All abstracts can be submitted until 21 April 2018<\/strong> to https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=cbl20180<\/a>. Before 1 May 2018 you will be informed about acceptance of your abstract.<\/p>\n

Attendance<\/strong>
\nAttendance is free of charge<\/strong> (this holds for members and non-members),\u00a0<\/span>but online registration is required before May 18, 2018<\/a><\/b><\/span>. You can book your lunch<\/strong> for \u20ac 10 (cash, to pay on arrival).
\nIf you want to give a lecture you must be a member of the LSB<\/strong>. This means that you have to be registered on the website<\/a> and have paid your contribution \u2013 \u20ac 40 if you wish to obtain the latest volume of the Belgian Journal of Linguistics for 2018, \u20ac 20 without.<\/p>\n

Venue<\/strong>
\nAll activities (lectures and lunch) will take place in the central building (A1) of the City Centre Campus of the University of Li\u00e8ge, located Place du 20 ao\u00fbt, 4000 Li\u00e8ge. It is at a walking distance from Li\u00e8ge-Palais train station.
\nTEC operates regular services from Li\u00e8ge-Guillemins train station to the city centre. Get off at the \u201cOp\u00e9ra\u201d stop and follow Place de la R\u00e9publique fran\u00e7aise and Rue de l\u2019Universit\u00e9, which lead to Place du 20 ao\u00fbt. Note that you can charge your MOBIB-card to pay your bus fares.<\/p>\n
