Main themes
This learning unit presents the evolution of international trade (global value chains), the major international trade models (Ricardo, Heckscher-Ohlin, economies of scale and imperfect markets), trade policies (protectionism, free trade, international trade and development, international trade negotiations, trade agreements), the social and environmental challenges of globalization (social dumping, environmental dumping), exchange rate regimes.

Content
This course presents the global evolution of international trade since the mid-19th century, core models of international trade, trade policies, and current topics such as social and environmental challenges associated with trade.
Evaluation methods
Written exam (80% of the grade) et group work (20% of the grade)
