Content
TECO 2102 is a course addressing the questions of meaning that confront men and women in the Western European context. In the university context, we need to apply rigorous rationality, especially when the subject of study is faith, spirituality or religions. The many and rapid changes taking place in the field of religion make this task all the more necessary and urgent. The propositions of meaning offered by Christianity will be presented in an informative and critical manner. A focus will be placed on the question of spirituality in the world of care: the impact of spirituality, ways in which it can be approached by carers, models for linking skills.
Two special sessions will be held on Spiritual Care, jointly with students on the TECO2101 and TECO2103 courses (date to be confirmed).
A special session will be held on Les fondements de l'éthique en Islam, by Prof. Brigitte Maréchal (UCLouvain), in conjunction with students on the TECO2103 course (date to be confirmed).
