Content
This course explores how new technologies and scientific developments impact warfare through the development and deployment of new types of military systems. It explores the concept of disruptive technologies on the conduct of warfare and examines the conceptual and strategic evolution that derive from these technologies. While focusing primarily on technologies with security implications (military, nuclear, cyber, AI), the seminar will also address the social effects of disruptive technologies, thus placing strategic studies in dialogue with adjacent social science fields.
