The conservation and protection of movable heritage depends on many kinds of technical and ethical understanding. By the end of this course, students will have mastered the information and knowledge needed for the preventive conservation of objects, as well as for these objects' protection and handling. Students will also be able to approach the necessary dialogue between the art historian and the restorer regarding the restoration of artworks. |
