In this seminar, the project general materials are integrated in a systematic and coherent frame to allow the analysis of technical, environmental, organizational, social, financial and economical feasibility as the making up one's mind about financing and carrying out.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | Ability to apply methods and techniques of project conception and formulation in a case study. |
Content
The seminar aims to develop in students the ability to apply to a concrete case study the methods and techniques proposed by international cooperation bodies and relating to the design, formulation and management of projects.
During the seminar, the student will apply these tools seen during the course LDVLP2155 Design and evaluation of development projects and policies to a concrete case, to which the seminar follows. It is therefore for him / her to be able to integrate all the elements composing a project into a coherent framework, a systematic outline, which allows the feasibility analysis as well as the decision-making as to its financing and its execution.

Teaching methods
Students work in sub-groups, interacting with the teacher and the assistant. Each sub-group must realistically design a sustainable development project that includes market production (sale of goods and / or services). The sub-group develops an integral and coherent analysis of the project, following the methods of project management.
Evaluation methods
Each sub-group presents its complete analysis (1) to all students during a final session and (2) in writing to the teacher during the exam session (January).
In the second exam session, the teacher will decide on an appropriate examination procedure.
