Content
The internship is a mandatory activity in the course of the student in chemistry with a specialization.
It will take place in the framework of a host institution: company or public administration; in Belgium or abroad.
It will have a duration equal to one quarter (fourteen weeks) full time and will take place during the second quarter of the first year of the Master.
The internship will be supervised by a local "internship supervisor".

Evaluation methods
The internship gives rise to a written report following an outline set by the academic internship manager.
The final evaluation will be based on this document, as well as on the evaluation of the internship by the local "internship supervisor" and on an oral defense (presentation and questions) by a jury made up of academic members of the UCL.

The choice of the host institution and the internship supervisor will be proposed by the student and must be approved by the university supervisor.
The internship is subject to an agreement signed by all parties before the beginning of the internship.
The professor in charge of the internship may intervene to help the student find a place for the internship.
