To prepare effectively for a lesson and a guided tour :
- How to select and organise subjects to effectively meet learning outcomes and curriculum requirements?;
- Learning how to determine learning outcomes and how to state them according to the specificities of the group to which the lesson is addressed;
- Synthesising a subject and giving it meaning;
- Diversifying the types of learning according to the specific content of the subjects;
- Favouring the understanding of the specificity of artistic language by training the subjects in appreciative autonomy which aim to objectify the criteria of appreciation;
- Initiation to the evaluation of student work and to problems related to docimology.
- Giving an overview of the specific methods of transmitting information in the field of art history and archaeology and to raise awareness of the usefulness of diversifying creative approaches.
Presentation and experimentation :
- Conditions of communication: contextual objectives, discourse on the relationship, the environment, speaking time… ;
- The construction of the presentation, types of plans ;
- The basic components of orality: non-verbal language and verbal language ;
- Oral skills: reading aloud, interview, public speaking.

Teaching methods
The course alternates between theoretical lectures and supervised exercise sessions which are organised, in particular, in museums and schools.
Lectures are devoted to the theory of practice on the basis of student presentations.
Individual exercises recorded on video are analysed with the aim of encouraging students to make a self-diagnosis that will enable them to make progress.

Evaluation methods
« Didactic » part: oral exam = 50% of the overall assessment. « Programme » part: written exam = 25% of the global evaluation. « Communication of scientific knowledge »: written work = 25% of the global evaluation.
If necessary, any appropriate evaluation modality will be put in place.
All of these modalities could be adapted and/or transposed to long distance learning according to sanitory developments.
