The student reviews and deepens the knowledge acquired in MHAR1111. At the end of this course, they will be able to demonstrate that they are able to apply grammatical structures in context, to vocalize a text in defective writing and to justify their grammatical choices. They will be able to construct nominal and verbal sentences with ease, hence a thorough knowledge of the conjugation of different types of verbs. Identify complex grammatical structures in preparation for translation. Emphasis is also placed on contrastive analysis of English and Arabic structures in order to make students aware of problematic structures in translation. Particular attention is paid to the most common usage difficulties, as well as to particularisms and idiotisms. |
