At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

• Ensure a solid general knowledge and maintain a curious mind to constantly expand it.
• learn about the cultures (national and foreign) specific to each language in their historical, geopolitical, economic, legal, social, and artistic dimensions.
• Identify the socio-cultural components of an oral or written text.
• Detect allusions, stereotypes, and intertextuality in an oral or written text.
• Identify their information and documentation needs.
• Understand information, memorize it, and effectively re-use it in different contextsa.
• Master and vary the structures of simple and complex sentences in German.
• Give a presentation in a foreign language, adhering to the basic principles of a good presentation.
• Properly present slides/presentation material correctly
