Speeches of increasing difficulty related to various themes. The students will be led to mobilise interpretative processes specific to the transition from a visual language to a vocal language and to practise collaboration within the framework of an interpreting pair (setting up a negotiated collaboration, blowing, support, critical feedback).

This course aims to automate the techniques of simultaneous interpreting. The course consists of practical exercises in conference interpreting (simultaneous and consecutive) LSFB>French followed by a detailed commentary by the teacher on the student's performance. The emphasis is on in-depth and nuanced understanding of the message, appropriation of the speech, quality of the language of expression (French) at a high level of accuracy and communication.

Evaluation methods
Continuous formative and final certifying evaluation in the form of two interpreting performances (simultaneous) LSFB>French before a professional jury composed of EU teachers and professional interpreters from outside the course.
The mark is an average of the marks of the two interpretations.
The same evaluation method will be used during the January session and the August/September session.
