Content
Learning is contextualized by original or edited texts (reading or listening comprehension).
Vocabulary and basic grammatical structures are trained, consolidated and extended via written and oral exercises (drills, role-plays, interviews and conversations in groups of 2 or 4 people).

Groups of 25 students maximum.(in class and/or online)
Evaluation methods
- Continuous assessment based on tests during the year (no certificative assessment).
- Different marks are taken into account in the global mark:
- Oral (20%) and written exams (80%: grammar and vocabulary 30%, text and listening 30%, writing 20%) take place at the last courseweek.
- The January test ("partiel") will take place at week 14 of the first term and chapter 1-4 of the book will be tested. The "exam of June" will take place at week 13 of the second term and chapter 5-8 will be tested. The final June mark will be: 30% of December mark and 70% of May mark.
