Traditionally political decision-making was studied through a linear approach: agenda-setting, legislative process centred on traditional political actors, implementation and evaluation. With the emergence of multi-level governance, the political decision process has gone deep transformations. Content
Traditionally political decision-making was studied through a linear approach: agenda-setting, legislative process centred on traditional political actors, implementation and evaluation. With the emergence of multi-level governance, the political decision process has gone deep transformations. The objective of this course is to study theoretically and methodological political decision-making through the lenses of multi-level governance.
Teaching methods
This course combines individual and collective assignments, to be done in classroom and at home as well as individual, collective and peer-reviewed readings, discussions, reflections and productions.
Evaluation methods
In the first session, the course relies on a combination of several methods of learning and assessment: a group research that will lead to an oral presentation, a poster and a written paper in the format of a scientific article, a review of an article/chapter, a written report on the first version of another group's paper, the oral and visual presentation of a poster to a panel of professionals.
All the deadlines will be announced in class and the assignments have to be uploaded on Moodle.

Other information
Depending on the evolution of sanitary conditions and consequently of the sanitary code, the teaching and evaluation mode will possibly change, in whole or in part, to remote mode via one or several computer tools provided by the University. Students enrolled in the course will be informed by e-mail.
