Main themes
Management of a terminology project with the creation of a terminology database on a given topic in the SDL Trados MultiTerm environment.

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | Assemble relevant documents on a given topic for terminological analysis; |
2 | Proceed with the terminological analysis of these documents; |
3 | Develop notional schemas on the given topic; |
4 | Write terminology records; |
5 | Create, feed and manage a terminology database using dedicated computer tools. |

Elaborating concept diagrams, terminological cards, MultiTerm termbase and leaflet or website on a topic chosen by the teachers.

Compulsory workshops in the computer lab.
Evaluation methods
January exam session : continuous assessment of the student's work for certification.
August/September exam session : assessment in the form of a written paper and oral exam. Practical details of the assignment and written exam will be communicated on Moodle.
