Content
The course consists in a consolidation of the mastery of Sanskrit philology.
The commented readings deal with poetical (kâvya) or technical (câstra) texts, possibly unpublished, with special attention given to philological questions of critical edition and apparatus as well as of manuscript deciphering, but also to the interpretation of native glosses and commentaries. The cursory reading deals with classical texts. The individual reading with written preparation consists of a text suggested to or by the student in continuation of the other texts studied or in function of his own research interest.
