The seminar will demonstrate that the student has effectively begun a program of research into a subject that is appropriate for a thesis in the Master 120 programme, that is, a project for original research that can be completed within two years.

Upon completion of the Master's thesis preparation seminar, the student shall have demonstrated : - the ability to determine and define an original subject of research - that this subject has been approved by a professor by the end of the fourth quarter - the ability to establish an ample bibliography on the subject - the ability to state working hypotheses and methodology clearly |
