Main Topics:
- Helicopter view of the supply chain & Major challenges in supply, production, distribution and logistics;
- Drivers and KPI for Supply chain management & a global framework for making decisions.
Teaching methods
This class is an intensive one week class with:
- regular lectures
- simulation games
- company cases
- company visits
- guest speakers
Evaluation methods
The evaluation is made of two parts:
- a short classical written exam at the end of the seminar
- an individual written paper in which the student assess the supply chain of a Business unit of his/her choice and analyse - according to the framework developed in this class - a potential change in the supply chain of that company (Guidelines are provided).
