Prerequisites
The student should have followed the intermediate-level course (LANGL1331) or a course of a similar level, corresponding to the B2 level of the 'Common European Framework for Languages' (European Council).
Main themes
Students will be asked to take part in various activities allowing them to develop their communicative skills (mainly oral skills) in the following situations: to make an oral presentation (press conference) of a new product, concept, participating in a meeting, using electronic mail, telephoning.

Content
Students should be able to communicate spontaneously and fluently to a degree that allows for normal interaction with a native-speaker interlocutor , with a B2 level in speaking of the Common European Framework for Languages (European Council).
Teaching methods
- This is a 30-hour course taught 2 hours a week throughout the first term for the langl 2433P course and throughout the second term for the langl 2433S course , in groups of maximum 20 students. Due to the current sanitory measures and room restrictions, the course will be taught online for the academic year 2020-2021. During the term, some face-to-face classes are foreseen in line with the sanitary measures in place.
- Every teacher has at least one office-hour a week and can be contacted by email.
Evaluation methods
For this course the students are assessed in two different ways:
- Certificative continuous assessment: preparation for class, active participation in all class activities, with particular emphasis on presentation skills (minimum one presentation) given in class (60% of the final mark).
- Two exams: one individual oral exam (20% of the final mark) students will be asked to take part in one or more activities similar to those covered in class and one collective exam (holding a meeting). (20% of the final mark).
