Purpose of the matter
General pathophysiology teaching aims at presenting most common disorders, emphasizing the logical and temporal relationships between etiology, pathophysiology and clinical symptoms (natural course of the disease). Consequently, diagnostic approach and therapeutical principles are discussed.

Content
Lectures covering most common disorders useful for students in pharmacy and biomedical sciences : arterial hypertension - heart failure - ischemic cardiomyopathy - emphysema - chronic obstructive lung disease and asthma - gastroduodenal ulcer - malabsorption - liver and biliary diseases - diabetes - thyroid disorders - renal disorders - blood and rheumatic diseases - neoplastic disorders.
