The objectives of this course are
·      To introduce the basic concepts of the operations management
·      To present a frame model structuring the different functional area
·      To initiate the students into the tools and technics used by the different departments to analyse and manage the company
·      To illustrate the relationships between the different functions of the operations management and also with other functional areas of the enterprise management
The course also refer to other courses like the accounting, the controlling and the project management.
At the end, the student could analyse globally the operations management of a manufacturing company and suggest some evolutions.

·      Magistrate presentations during which the students can interact.
·      Exercises are proposed to apply some notions. Solutions are available.
Evaluation methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

An oral exam is organised, based on open questions covering a chapter or a large notion.
An alternative is proposed to everyone who wants apply some concepts to their company or organisation.
Online resources
PowerPoint presentations with comments explaining notions, definitions, explanations or reference texts.
All the presentations (PDF slides with comments) are available on the student corner as of the begin of the course.
A few notes and some documentation are also provided via the student corner.
