Main themes
To achieve those objectives, the course will:
- deal with a specific question of spiritual or mystical theology;
- highlight the methods of spiritual theology;
- offer an introduction to the discernment of spiritualities.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 - to implement the methods of spiritual theology;
 
2 - to know and implement the criteria of discernment of spiritualities;
 
3 - to tackle a problematic, a current or an author of spiritual theology.
 
Content
The lesson deals with Bernard de Clairvaux and his anthropology. It will tackle historical background of Bernard de Clairvaux, and will focus on the book "L'amour de Dieu" and on the book "La grâce et le libre arbitre".  Il will identify the main idea to build a spiritual theology for our contemporary context.
