Other information
The training in French linguistics has been thought out in a progressive manner over the three annual blocks of the bachelor's degree. The first annual block aims at mastering the standardized language while maintaining a critical distance from the norm (LROM1111 Linguistique : maitrise et analyse du français normé). The second annual block is devoted to the study of the French language in its social or geographical variation (LROM1221 Linguistique : la variation en français contemporain) and historical (LROM1222 Linguistique : approche historique du français dans la Romania). The third annual block trains in the analysis of the French language as used in context, and in particular in the identification of the genres (and registers) of texts and speeches (Linguistique : analyse du français en contexte).

Teaching methods
The course can be attened online via Teams, the video of the session is available in the Teams group and on Moodle. Given the length of each session (3 hours) and the loss of interactivity, the course must be completed by a few readings (all papers are scanned and available in pdf on Moodle). Students are also expected to complete some exercises and activities to do at home (correction or suggested correction to be downloaded on Moodle the following week).
Evaluation methods
If the situation does not allow for an exam under standard conditions, the assessment will be done online via Moodle quiz. The evaluation will include around fifty multiple choice questions. There are no negative points expected, and each question has the same number of points. To the correction, the following weighting is applied: the expected answer is exact (all the correct items checked): 1 point otherwise 0.
