5. anticipate the problems of employability at the end of his/her studies.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.The studient is required to attend all seminars corresponding to points (1) and (3) mentioned in the section "aims" above and to a minimum of five seminars corresponding to point (2). S.he keeps a list of all attended seminars.
At the end of the year, he/she is asked to present orally (in about fifteen minutes, preferably in English) in front of the holders of the teaching unit a scientific article of physics that he will have chosen in consultation with them. The presentation of the article will be followed by some questions asked to the student by the holders of the teaching unit.
It is mae clear that this not a seminar, but a "paper presentation", where the introductory/"background" part is quite essential. The evaluation weights are as follows:
1/4 for the seminar participation; 1/4 for the "technical" aspects, ie. proper slides, timely delivery etc; 1/4 for the "pedagogical" aspects of presentation; 1/4 for the scientific content, answers to questions etc.
