The course aims to develop ability to stand back regarding the advantages and the limitations of research in speech and language clinical therapy. It addresses different formats of scientific communication in order to acquire relevant skills in research communication.
Teaching methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

The course is based on presentations of scientific pieces of research and pieces of research applied to speech and language therapy that are going to be critically analysed during interactive activities with students. Secondly, students will be called upon to present a piece of research (theoretical framework, research questions, method, results, discussion and conclusion), and to present their advantages and limitations for the understanding of given situations.
Evaluation methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

The course evaluation will consist in an oral presentation of one or two pieces of research by the students, including the presentation of the advantages and the limitations of the piece of research.
The students will be informed since the beginning of the course of this procedure.
