- Overview of the history of geography; - Readings on the major books of geography: Alexander von Humboldt?, Alfred Wegener, Carl Ritter, Paul Vidal de la Blache, Ellen Churchill Semple?Ellen Churchill Semple, William Morris Davis, Georges Perkins Marsh as well as more contemporary authors. - Presentation of one author and discussion of its contribution to geography.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :
