Main themes
The workshop " Europe as it is thought " provides an interdisciplinary analysis on both the innovative aspects of European societies and the European integration process. It will put forward representations of and theorizing on, Europe as well as what Europe produces herself. Various paradigms are used, taken from the fields involved in the study programme.

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | To get the ability to face different models and paradigms from the theoretical analysis of Europe. To develop a critical and interdisciplinary understanding of European integration representations. |
Content
The workshop articulates critical readings of theoretical texts from sociology, political science, history, anthropology, philosophy, law and economics. The challenge for the student is to get access to those divergent/convergent analyses and to develop his own critical point of view and his capacity to bring out a personal argument on European studies.
