Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change. At the end of the course, Students will be able to recognize critical situations (for example cardiac or respiratory failure) and will be able to apply first aid. To obtain such knowledge, courses will be magisterial and practical.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change. The assessment of learning will be done via a practical exam (in December) and a theoretical exam (in January), or in September (no session in June, no catching up outside the session). The course will only be successful if each part is successful individually. In this case, the overall course score will be the average of the two parts. In case of failure in one of the parts, the final score will be lower than 10. You must register on time otherwise you will be postponed to the September session. In addition, it is not possible to take the practical exam outside the scheduled periods.
The theoretical exam will be written in the form of a MCQ and/or a QROC. The practical exam, by definition, will assess how the candidate puts the acquired knowledge into practice.
If one of the exams fails, it must be represented at the September session (the score for the successful part is put in the "fridge" in the meantime). In the event of illness during one of the exams, a medical certificate must be submitted within 2 days (at least one scan of the medical certificate sent to the CT and to the faculty's secretariat, any certificate arriving after the date of the deliberation cannot be taken into consideration) and the completion of this exam will be postponed to the next session, that is to say in September (no possibility of passing the failed part outside the sessions).
