The Literary Translation Workshop (Spanish into French) will be devoted to the translation of comics/graphic novels. A theoretical section will focus on the following elements: 1) comics: types; 2) the different stages in the translation of a comic (from the translation request to delivery); 3) characteristics of translating comics; 4) translation of related documents: types and features. After this introduction, and under the lecturer's guidance, the students will translate several pages of one or several comics as well as related documents in the course of the seminar.

Face-to-face teaching (computer lab).
Evaluation methods
During the term: formative assessment of the student's work.
In June and September: summative assessment in the form of a written paper and oral exam.
The use of machine translation is strictly forbidden.
