Contribution of teaching unit to learning outcomes assigned to programme With regard to the learning outcomes assigned to the Master's programme in Interpreting, this teaching unit contributes to the development and acquisition of the following goals: 2.1, 2.3, 3.3, 6.4 On completion of this course the student will be able to: - Deploy analytical methods and comprehension techniques and demonstrate the capacity to digest information in rapidly decoding the content of a text drafted in Language C and rendering it fluently in Language A; - Practise theory-informed transposition techniques to perfection - Detect underlying socio-cultural references in a text and render them appropriately in Language A; - Demonstrate flexibility and mental acuity in adapting without hesitation to novel communicative situations; |
